Typically as seen above these roofs are covered in varying thicknesses of lose gravel and must be cleaned in preparation for repairs and new TPO membrane.	Redundant roof protrusions are removed and holes roofed in prior to installation of insulation layer
After all repairs are made and wet insulation has been removed and replaced the new ISO insulation board with required R-Value is mechanically fastened.	In high wind regions or with higher roof lines additional RUSS strip may be required around the buildings perimeter.
Extra care is taken and corners are reinforced as required.	Flashing detail is completed with Leister hand welders.

Elastomeric Roof Coating

Flat roofing also known as Tar and Gravel or Built up roofing is commonly made up of a base of tar paper, covered with liquid tar, embedded gravel with a lose gravel covering. Repairs to Tar and Gravel roofing is very expensive and not always effective in stopping the leaks

The existing Tar and Gravel roofing material serves as the foundation for applying this roofing system. Typically as seen above these roofs are covered in varying thicknesses of lose gravel and must be cleaned in preparation for repairs and coating.	CanAM has developed a process to quickly and effectively remove the rock and debris.
Here an old repair has been found to be a cause for leaking.	The damaged area is repaired with hot liquid asphalt, roofing mastics and nylon mesh is embedded for added strength. This area is now repaired and ready for coating.
Here the first base coat is applied.	The base coat has been applied and cured and the white top coat is being applied.
As you can see the special attention is given to ridges and cracks around roof extrusions.	The finished roof is water tight and will reflect sunlight and reduce cooling costs for many years.
